Z58 is a redesigned office building located next to a park in the French quarters in Shanghai, China. In an attempt to assimilate to the adjacent park and to create a discrete office space that stepped back from the ever-growing urban context of larger and louder buildings, the building hides behind a garden screen facade made of ivy planter box louvers.
