The program required that the sky-scrapper house a Theatre, Cinema, Hotel, Ballroom, and a recording studio.  In order to give each individual program its own presence, the concept was to "roof in" a city block, to house all of the programs under one megalithic roof that stretched from one side to the other.  The result was of creating an entirely new sky-scrapper typology that is a compound of individual cells.
